The PDU560 is a fully solid-state direct-current power control and monitoring system. The PDU560 can provide control and monitoring of up to 200A of continuous DC current.  The PDU560 is digitally controlled and optionally provides an intelligent load-shed function which includes monitoring of external voltage sources and shuts down outputs in a prioritized manner in order to maintain power to critical loads during periods of reduced input power capacity.

The PDU560 provides current and voltage telemetry as well as power-up and continuous built-in-test functions for continued airworthiness and life cycle monitoring.

The fully solid-state design provides unprecedented fault-isolation and near-instant reaction times to overload and short-circuit fault conditions without issues related to contactor welding and bounce. The PDU560 also allows for high inrush current draw often encountered with highly capacitive loads. The switch architecture provides redundant fault-isolation, in the event an output switch fails and the output is overloaded, the main breaker can also serve to isolate the failure and prevent a system over-current.

CS (Single Secondary) SERIES TRANSFORMERS SPECIFICATIONS

EXTERNAL THREE (3Ø) ADAPTER

el13 phaseThe EL1 is a three phase (3Ø) adapter that takes 28 VDC input voltage and generates three phase output signals. The three phase output signals interface with three KGS static inverters, noted below, to form three phase WYE or DELTA output configuration.

The KGS models are SPC-5(G), SPC-10(L), SPC-10(J), SPC-10(U), SPC-10(F), SPC-10(N), SPC-10(H), SPC-38( ) and SPC-75(B).

The current drain from the 28 VDC buss is 25 milliamperes when the three phase output signals of the EL1 are connected to sync lines of the three static inverters.

The EL1 provides two sets of three phase signals for two groups of KGS static inverters; Group #1 - SPC-5(G), SPC-38( ) and SPC-75(B), and Group #2 - SPC-10(F), SPC-10(N), SPC-10(H), SPC-10(J) and SPC-10(U).

Group #1 inverters take a 400 Hz 15 volt square wave from the EL1 to the inverter sync lines and Group #2 inverters take a string of two level 800 Hz pulse signals from the EL1 to the inverter sync lines.

A state of the art digital design technique enables the EL1 to provide highly stable phase locking signals to the inverters generating a three phase system which delivers low distortion 115 VAC or 26 VAC and accurate phase separation.
